The Medianalyst system for real-time, continuous measurement of public satisfaction enables its users to understand, rapidly and efficiently, the strengths and weaknesses of a documentary, a fiction or a whole range of programs.

As the participants convey their impressions by moving a cursor, the responses are entirely spontaneous, unlike traditional qualitative methods which require candidates to indicate their perception according to a response grid.

Television surveys are all the more informative when recruitment of the candidates takes into account specific targets, such as favourite channel, TV viewing habits, preferred program types, in addition to the basic social-demographic targets.

Medianalyst can be used by anyone, including children.

In both the offline and online versions, Medianalyst is operational instantly in every part of the world, regardless of the native language.

Examples of application
PRODUCTION TESTS
Analysis of TV fiction, documentaries, or one-off programs make up the most classical application of Medianalyst, at the origin of its conception.
COMPETITION EVALUATION
By successively presenting excerpts of all programs from competing offers, it is possible to evaluate the strong and weak points of each, determine which audience they target, find out which programs interest the same audience and decide at what point in each program a rise in audience numbers is likely.
EDITING A PROGRAM CATALOGUE
The audience of a repeat program (a series, big or small screen film, documentary, etc) depends on the program’s original success, the context of its retransmission with respect to competing offers, its burnout factor, current trends, or a combination of any of these factors.
OTHER EXAMPLES OF SURVEYS
• Barometer / channel image surveys
• Videoclip evaluations
• Pre-purchase fiction previews
• Live monitoring of audience votes
• Testing the channel’s presentation (design, logos, etc)
• Surveys abroad on programs destined for international sale.
