A typical Offline Medianalyst session
All the candidates taking part in the Medianalyst session are gathered in the same room. Using hand-held devices with a graduated cursor, they answer each question as it is asked or respond continuously to the audiovisual documents presented to them. Their responses are monitored in real time by the research institute and by the final customer.
Devices are distributed randomly to the participants, who use them, after a few practise exercises, to answer personal profile questions. In this way, it's possible to associate up to 60 candidates to a set of targets, whilst guaranteeing total anonymity in their responses.

Each study is elaborated with precision and requires particular skill in preparing the questionnaires and presentations given in the auditorium. This preparation generally takes place during the sample recruitment period. The study is monitored in real time, and the results can be processed instantly. After an offline Medianalyst session, a debriefing with the client can usually be arranged for the following day, and a complete, commented report produced within a week.

A typical Online Medianalyst session
All Internet users invited to participate in online Medianalyst sessions are recruited according to criteria and quotas applied to an access panel. A vertical cursor follows the displacement of their mouse on the screen. Online sessions can be synchronous (all sessions starting simultaneously) or asynchronous (each candidate starting the session at his or her convenience). The research company and the client monitor the responses in real time or at the end of the session.
The panel administrator sends the invitations and accepts or refuses candidates depending on quotas and on the candidates' hardware configuration. When they access the survey platform, practise exercises are proposed to the participants to familiarise them with the displacement of the cursor. At the same time, their socio-demographic profile is transmitted in a transparent manner so as to avoid unnecessary questioning.

Each survey is composed of a series of sequences evaluated either continuously or separately, with a preset time allocated for each response. In this way the duration of a questionnaire can be known precisely in advance.

At the end of an online session, the Internet users are redirected to the panel administration site where quotas are updated and incentives released.

Each study requires digitisation of the materials to be evaluated.

Studies can be created and processed from any workstation connected to Internet, via an authorised access.

Only a few hours are necessary to recruit a voting sample, and the analysis or export of the data is possible as soon as the survey is terminated.
